Email Bill Parsing

Forward your property bills to HostFi and AI automatically extracts the vendor, amount, category, and due date.

How It Works

1. Every HostFi account gets a unique billing email address (e.g., ab3kx92m@in.hostfi.ai)
2. Forward any bill or invoice to that address
3. AI parses the email and extracts the key details
4. The parsed bill appears in your Inbox for review
5. Confirm the details and it becomes an expense

Finding Your Billing Email

Go to Settings to see your unique billing email address. You can copy it and add it as a forwarding address in your regular email, or just forward bills manually.

What Gets Parsed

The AI extracts:

• Vendor — Who the bill is from
• Amount — How much is owed
• Category — Automatically suggested based on the vendor and content
• Due Date — When payment is due
• Property Match — Attempts to match the bill to the right property

Reviewing Parsed Bills

In your Inbox, each parsed bill shows:

• The extracted details with a confidence score
• The original email content
• Options to edit any field before confirming

You can:

• Confirm — Creates an expense with the parsed details
• Edit and Confirm — Adjust any fields first, then create the expense
• Reject — Discard the parsed bill

Tips

• Forward bills as soon as they arrive for real-time tracking
• The AI gets better at categorizing as it learns your typical bills
• Works with most utility companies, insurance providers, property managers, and service vendors
