What counts as a property?
Any rental unit you manage. It could be an entire house, an apartment, a single room, or a hotel room. Each property gets its own financial tracking.
What’s included in the free tier?
Up to 3 properties, manual expense and revenue tracking, 3 receipt scans per month, CSV export, email bill parsing, and basic anomaly detection. No credit card required.
How does email bill parsing work?
Every account gets a unique email address (like ab3kx92m@in.hostfi.ai). Forward any bill or invoice to that address, and AI automatically extracts the vendor, amount, category, and due date. Review and confirm in your Inbox.
How does receipt scanning work?
Upload a photo or PDF of a receipt (max 10 MB). AI reads the receipt and extracts the vendor, amount, date, and suggests a category. Free users get 3 scans per month; Pro and Business get unlimited.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. All credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access uses Row Level Security so you can only see your own data. See our Security page for full details.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV export is available on all tiers. PDF export is available on Pro and Business plans. You can export expenses, revenue, and P&L reports.
What PMS integrations do you support?
Currently: Hospitable, OwnerRez, Hostaway, and Guesty. Lodgify is coming soon. See Integrations for the full list.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
Your data is never deleted. You revert to the free tier limits (3 properties, 3 receipt scans/month) and lose access to Pro/Business features, but all existing data stays intact.
